INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPILING
Prerequisites

The wxWindows library already needs to be build.

The FL (Frame Layout) library already needs to be build,
the source can be found in the contrib folder under the wxWindows source tree.

Set your environment variables:

WXWIN must be set to point to your wxWindows installation
-
WXWORKSHOPDIR must be set to point to your wxWorkshop installation
-
Must be using wxWindows v2.3.2 or higher. wxWorkshop uses features which are not available in previous releases of wxWindows

Latest CVS sources of wxWorkshop. See this link for instructions on
obtaining CVS sources of wxWorkshop.
Compiling with the VC6 IDE
-
Open the project in you "wxWorkshop/ws" directory

Choose DEBUG build (you must have built wxWindows as a DEBUG build!).

Compile.
Compiling from the command line with VC6
-
Change to your "wxWorkshop" directory.

Type: nmake -f makefile.vc
from the command line with free Borland compiler v5.5
-
wxWindows needs to be built as a DLL, i.e. with the command
"make -f makefile.b32 DLL=1"
-
FL needs to be built with the WXUSINGDLL option set to 1,
i.e. with the command "make -f makefile.b32 WXUSINGDLL=1"
-
Change to your "wxWorkshop/ws" directory.

Type: make -f makefile.b32 WXUSINGDLL
